The Vessel Examiners are trained specialists and are members of the United States Power Squadrons. They may also make certain recommendations and discuss certain safety issues that will assist you in being a safer boater. The Vessel Examiners do not and cannot report discrepancies to any civil authority. The purpose of the examination is to help ensure your boat has all the required safety equipment and therefore, hopefully allow you the possibility of returning safely from your boating venture.
